About the Opportunity

n

DMI, LLC is seeking a DevSecOps Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join us supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Defense Acquisition Visibility Environment (DAVE) program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

n

n
• Design, implement, and maintain highly available and secure Kubernetes clusters.
n
• Manage identity and access control using Keycloak.
n
• Administer and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines and workflows to support software delivery.
n
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure platform reliability and compliance.
n
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
n
• Expert understanding of Kubernetes, Helm, and Ansible.
n
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues across infrastructure and application stack.
n
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure platform health and performance.
n
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response as needed.
n

Qualifications

n

Education and Years of Experience: 

n

n
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
n
• 5+ years of experience in a platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure role
n

n

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:  

n

n
• Deep expertise in Azure Government
n
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, networking, etc)
n
• Deep expertise in API solutions like Tyk or Apigee
n
• Proven experience managing and extending GitLab for source control and Ci/CD
n
• Proficiency with Linux-based systems and container technologies
n
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash and Python
n
• Solid understanding of security best practices in cloud-native environments
n
• Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools
n
• Knowledge of SAML and oAuth protocols
n
• Currently possesses or has the ability to obtain required certifications within 2 months of employment: CompTIA Security+
n
• Familiarity with Atlassian suite of tools
n
• Ability to obtain AWS or Azure certifications
n

Clearance Requirements: Must possess DoD Secret Security clearance.

Location: Alexandria, VA; the ideal candidate would live within the DC Metro area, but also taking applications for Remote workers across the US
