nLockheed Martin is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Weapon System Performance Analysis Lead to join the CPS team.
nAs the Weapon System Performance Analysis Lead , you will join the System Analysis team on the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) program. In this role, you will:
n• Lead and contribute to analysis supporting weapon system requirements such as survivability and lethality
n• Apply missile trajectory design expertise to modeling and simulation
n• Maintain technical performance measurements for weapon system range and effectiveness
n• Support cross business area focus groups in operational and campaign level analysis
n• Engage with industry partners, Army, and Navy performance counterparts
n• Coordinate with Performance, range safety, and flight test working groups to provide pertinent deliverables
n• Maintain schedule of performance deliveries driven by ground and flight tests
n• Interface with Navigation, Guidance and Controls, and Flight Sciences teams
n• Support Technical Insertion analysis as needed
n• Develop good working relationships between CPS and sister program Element organizations
n• Work independently and thrives in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment
n• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a proven ability to interact effectively and build strong relationships with customers, management, and peers.
nSelected candidates will typically have a Bachelors degree, or higher, in Engineering or other technical discipline with 9+ years of related professional work experience

n• Experience developing and evaluating flight trajectories based on system requirements
n• Experience with project management
n• Experience using Matlab
n• Experience using systems models or simulations to perform functions, such as:
na.) System Trade studies
nb.) Requirements decomposition
nc.) Performance Predictions
n• Active or Current DoD Secret clearance; US Citizenship required
nDesired Skills:
n• Familiarity with Navigation, Guidance, and Control(NG&C) principles
n• Familiarity with performance metrics for missile systems related to survivability and lethality
n• Experience with campaign level or operational analysis
n• Experience with SMD products, missions, and customers
n• Flight test or flight test range support experience
n• Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative working environment across disparate organizations
n• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, including a proven ability to interact effectively and build strong relationships with customers, management, and peers
n• Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment
n• Strong team collaboration, communication and presentation skills
n• Active or Current Top Secret security clearance

nAbility to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
nSchedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
nPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
