We have a position for an is looking for an experienced diesel aftertreatment MATLAB Simulink algorithm development engineer to assist with integration of aftertreatment controls into an OEM vehicle. This role will assist customers with troubleshooting aftertreatment controls, integrating an aftertreatment system with a diesel engine and assist with calibration. This role collaborates cross-functionally with other teams in North America.

This role will assist customers with troubleshooting aftertreatment controls, integrating an aftertreatment system with a diesel engine and assist with calibration. What you will be doing:
Key Responsibilities:
Software Development & Integration
- Optimize control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink for emissions control and infrastructure automation.
- Integrate software into AUTOSAR Classic architecture using tools like Vector DaVinci Developer and Configurator Pro .
- Develop and maintain software builds using Vector tools
- Integrate aftertreatment system with a diesel engine
- Troubleshoot issues, messages etc.
- Assist with vehicle testing on site at OEM
- Analyze large datasets using MATLAB , Concerto , and Excel for calibration and diagnostics.
- Support S-function development and calibration workflows for customer-specific applications.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in integration and Simulink development
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink , C , C++
- Experience with AUTOSAR Classic application software development.
- Application software (ASW) development experience
- Strong understanding of internal combustion engines and aftertreatment systems .
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent English skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Python for automation and data processing.
- Experience using Vector tools like DaVinci Developer, Configurator
- Knowledge of Vector CANape, CANalyzer, and CANoe.
- Emissions and regulatory compliance experience is a major plus.
- PTC Integrity experience is highly desired
- ISO 26262 knowledge is highly desired
- ASPICE knowledge is highly desired
