The Daughters of Charity Is Looking for Team Players!

We are looking for responsible and energetic individuals to fill Per Diem positions as Dining Assistants. Per Diem flexibility may work for you!

We are home for the retired Sisters of the Daughters of Charity, located in a peaceful, park like setting providing independent, assisted and memory care in a person respected environment. Experience in a senior living community is preferred.

Responsibilities

Our Dining Assistants may help in the following areas:

Serving meals to our resident Sisters in a professional, courteous and friendly manner always being attentive to their requests. Perform a variety of tasks necessary to assist in the care and maintenance of the work area, equipment and supplies including removing recyclables, transporting food items to respective storage areas, cleaning kitchen equipment as scheduled.

Perform various tasks necessary to assist cooks with the preparation of scheduled meals including making salads and other food items as directed by the cook, assist in serving meals in a tasteful and attractive manner, ensure that, after the meal, all food is cleared and properly stored

Must have experience in an assisted living facility and carry out functions necessary to maintain the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchens and dining room. Perform and document cleaning duties as scheduled.

Maintain professional discretion and strict confidentiality

Any other duties as assigned. Prior experience is preferred.

May need to work weekends and Holidays

Differentials available- 1st shift, Saturday/Sunday, $3.00/hour more

2nd shift, Monday-Friday, $3.00/hour more

2nd shift, Saturday/Sunday, $6.00/hour more
