Job Description:

- Position is for a Mechanical/Civil/Structural/Naval/Marine Engineer or Naval Architecture with experience in the design, testing, installation, maintenance, and alteration in the area of Naval Ship HM&E systems, structural inspection/construction/evaluation, welding engineering, quality oversight, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). n
- Areas of experience include preparing engineering design and installation drawings, and supporting calculations, instructions and processes for structural integrity applications. n
- Experience with structural, corrosion, and/or coating inspections and working knowledge of NDT techniques to include Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Visual Testing (VT). n
- Experience with or knowledge of U.S. Navy technical publications/standards/requirements for shipboard Hull Structure is desirable. n
Required Skills and/or Experience:

- Five (5) years of experience in the design testing installation, maintenance and alteration in the realm of structural integrity applications. n
- Five (5) years of experience in managing Navy shipboard engineering projects, with experience regarding assessment and maintenance of Naval Ships HM&E systems, contractor quality oversight and surveillance, and approval of welding and Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) procedures. n
- Five (5) years of experience in design, testing, installation, maintenance, and alteration in the realm of structural integrity applications n
Degree Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in materials engineering, welding engineering, or Naval Architecture or a similar discipline from an accredited college or university n
- n
- Must be a US n
- A secret security clearance n
