Sales Coordinator
Reports to: Brand Experience Manager

Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, reliable team player that can add value to our Sales Department.
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for ensuring our customers receive a world class experience, utilizing the servant leadership approach to develop, direct, and implement the sales and production process. Must be able to provide a world class customer care as a Sales Coordinator for retail Home Centers.
Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complete understanding of product offerings, pricing structure, and internal systems
  • Facilitate the order entry process and provide accurate and timely information flow between the home building facility and our retailers
  • Provide necessary administrative support to the Brand Experience Manager (BXM) and Customer Success Managers (CSM)
  • Actively participate in Sales Department initiatives to improve our "products" and "services"
  • Problem-solve and manage supply information relating to purchasing and receiving; must develop a good working knowledge of the ERP system.
  • Analyze sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
  • Manage inventory, levels, schedules, and availability of selected items, either manufactured or purchased, to meet production schedules.
  • Review work-in-process material reviews from production floor.
  • Communicate with manufacturing personnel, the purchasing department and supervisors on materials status and production planning issues.
  • Conduct continuous inventory reviews. Verify on-hand against ERP and lead time.
  • Weekly follow-up of past due orders with suppliers.
  • Assist in cost savings initiatives and supplier performance feedback.
  • Help develop and reinforce proper inventory practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED), required.
  • Good communication skills: ability to work with a wide range of people including Team Members, vendors, and management.
  • Time Management: ability to multi-task between the different responsibilities will be important due to daily interaction within multiple groups.
  • 1-3 years Customer service experience with emphasis on direct relationship building responsibilities
  • Must have experience with Microsoft office applications, specifically in Excel.
  • Excellent project management and follow-up skills.
  • Must be available to work overtime and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Analytical skills, ability to solve problems and/or offer alternative solutions.
  • Experience using ERP/Oracle systems and applications in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
Salary:
  • $25/hr
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Work may require stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, and / or pulling.
  • Work environment is not temperature controlled and may result in exposure to extreme temperatures.
