We are looking for a talented Electrical Proposal Engineer you will be responsible for generating capital equipment sales proposals to include drawings, technical specifications and cost estimates.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Generate sales proposals: drawings (initial concept), technical specification, cost estimates
  • Ensure customer requests are satisfied in the sales proposal. Attend customer meetings & conference calls as required
  • Contract review (before order acceptance)
  • Be the liaison between engineering and sales departments to ensure the success of all
  • Review sales information and determine if there is sufficient information to prepare a proposal
  • Distribute sales requests to other departments as required
  • Ensure all sales requests are properly setup and tracked
  • Evaluate performance against tracking log with metric analysis
  • Report status of engineering sales requests to sales team
  • Balance workload with various deliverables and due dates
  • Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment.
  • All other related duties as assigned.
  • Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the design of electrical and/or electromechanical systems
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with integration of machine control systems, data acquisition systems, and/or PLC control logic
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Technical field experience is a plus
  • Engineering and Technology - Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
  • Ability to read/ understand electrical and mechanical drawings
  • AutoCAD (or equivalent) knowledge
  • Ability to prepare complex written reports and other documentation
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to walk.
  • Ability to speak verbally and read in English.
  • Ability to see with corrective lenses.
  • Ability to hear.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to use a computer.
  • Able to work evenings and/or weekends as required.
  • Able to travel up to 10% domestically.
