****Position Summary
nThe Weekend Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff at a Skilled Nursing Facility. This position is responsible for greeting guests, answering and directing phone calls, providing general administrative support, and maintaining a professional and welcoming front desk environment.
nEssential Duties and Responsibilities

- Greet and assist all visitors, vendors, and residents' family members in a friendly and professional manner. n
- Answer and route incoming calls using a multi-line phone system. n
- Ensure that all visitors sign in and out per facility policy. n
- Monitor visitor compliance with facility protocols (e.g., infection control, mask usage, sign-in procedures). n
- Provide information or direct inquiries to the appropriate departments or personnel. n
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages. n
- Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying as needed. n
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area. n
- Support emergency procedures by following communication protocols. n
- Maintain confidentiality and security of resident and facility information at all times. n

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. n
- Professional demeanor and appearance. n
- Proficient with basic office equipment (phone systems, copier, scanner, computer). n
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook). n
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure. n
- Friendly, patient, and courteous attitude with residents and families n
Education & Experience

- High school diploma or GED required. n
- Prior receptionist or clerical experience preferred, especially in a healthcare or SNF setting. n
