About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join a growing and reputable engineering firm based in Chicago, IL . This role focuses on the delivery of complex transportation infrastructure projects , including stormwater management, hydraulics, and roadway design . The position offers significant professional growth, hands-on project leadership, and collaboration with a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support transportation engineering projects from planning through execution.
• Conduct detailed analysis and design of stormwater and roadway systems.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Prepare construction documents, technical reports, and specifications.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce and review project drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 4 - 8 years of civil engineering experience
• P.E. license preferred (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Excellent project coordination and time management skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000
