About The Role
You will be joining the Higround gaming peripherals division and spearheading our retail initiatives nationwide.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of business development/account management experience managing national consumer electronics retailers with 2 complete holiday sales cycles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive team player with a bias for action.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites
- Proficient with EDI and vendor portal
- Familiarity with Google Workspace
- Identify and pursue retail opportunities within Best Buy, MicroCenter, Target, reseller accounts via Segue, and other retailers as applicable.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with retail partners.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to maximize product placement and revenue within retail channels.
- Provide forecasts and execute shipment plans to comply with partner SLA.
- Proactively generate leads and pursue opportunities for product placement in additional retail channels.
- Develop strategic business plans for all accounts - including but not limited to marketing/promo campaigns and channel-exclusive programs.
- Plan and execute promotions/campaigns with the marketing department.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams as appropriate.
- Attend and lead vendor events as necessary.
- Must be able to travel approximately 25% of the time.
- 3+ years of business development/account management experience in PC and Console Gaming
- 1+ years of experience working with Best Buy, MicroCenter, Target, and Distribution
- You will play a key role in defining the future of Higround and will be depended upon to ensure the success of the company
