Ultimate LLC is looking to hire a Full Time Field Engineer/Surveyor for our Data Center Project Located in Ellendale, ND with Trimble Total Station Experience . The pay range for this position is $30-$40/HR (based on experience).

Ultimate LLC Key Responsibilities:

  Perform site layout work, create and check as-built drawings, and stake out clearing boundaries and reference points on site

  Utilize surveying instruments such as Trimble total stations and GPS to measure distances accurately

  n

• n

  Create 2D and 3D models to generate line work, stakeout points, and machine control

  n
n
• n

  Interface with cartographers, civil engineers, and project managers to develop detailed design documentation

  n
n
• n

  Perform construction site stakeout and must be able to read and interpret site construction drawings

  n
n
• n

  Survey the site to gather information and precise measurements on geographic, hydrographic, and topographic features

  n
n
• n

  Create digital maps and reports using GIS (geographic information systems) technology

  n
n
• n

  Advise clients, architects, and construction managers of any on-site conditions, building defects, or potential environmental impacts within boundary lines

  n
n
• n

  Produce reports and subsequent deliverables based on the inspections from that day.

  n
n
• n

  Attend meetings to coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to plan daily activities.

  n
n
• n

  Process and review all acquired data to ensure it is accurate and reliable.

  n

• n

  Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

  n
n
• n

  Field Engineering / Surveying Experience Required - i.e construction layout, topographic, land surveying, geodetic, geometric or geospatial works.

  n

• n

  Experience with Trimble GPS instruments and/or Trimble Business Center

  n
n
• n

  Happy to work alone or as part of a 2 or 3 person crew

  n
n
• n

  Knowledge and working experience of 3D / BIM / BIM360 / Revit / Navisworks would be beneficial but can be taught if not

  Confident in using Microsoft Office - Word & Excel
