nWhat You Will Be Doing
nAs the Quality Engineer Associate, you will be responsible for performing Supplier Quality Engineer duties on various programs, determining quality requirements, and developing inspection plans to ensure compliance with Lockheed Martin's standards. You will play a critical role in supporting program teams and collaborating with suppliers to resolve quality issues.
nYour responsibilities will include:
n-Determining quality requirements for purchased parts
n-Developing inspection plans and supporting IPT meetings
n-Dispositioning nonconforming material and acting as a liaison between suppliers and Lockheed Martin on quality issues
n-Facilitating, reviewing, and approving supplier corrective action requests
n-Supporting internal and external audits, as well as supplier visits
n-Attending program reviews and performing other duties as assigned

nMUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
nBasic Qualifications:
nBachelor's degree from an accredited college in STEM discipline, or equivalent technical experience/combined education.
nAbility to focus on continual improvement practices using causal analysis tools to drive corrective and preventive actions.
nBe able to effectively communicate with Customer, Program team and other functional departments.
nWillingness/ability to travel to support new training requirements and/or program issues/needs as they arise.
nStrong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
nAbility to multi-task, meet deadlines and support engineering activities related to special process surveys and supplier issues.
nStrong communication (both oral and written) will be necessary to support the assignment.
nAbility to pass visual acuity and color perception exam.
nAbility to obtain a secret security clearance so must be a US Citizen.
nDesired Skills:
nKnowledge and understanding of electrical and mechanical blueprint reading, critical design attributes and auditing/surveying capabilities.
nExperience with SAP and/or Apriso.
nFAI experience.
nIPC/J-STD, GD&T familiarity.
nFamiliarity with AS9100, ISO9001 and NQA-1/10CFR50 Appendix B.
nExperience with or certification in lean manufacturing/Lean Six Sigma.
nMRB experience.
nStrong problem-solving skills, corrective action and causal analysis techniques.
nAudit, Process Line Verification and/or Hardware Quality Assessment experience.
nCMM Programming and/or Inspection experience.
nSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

nAbility to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
nSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
