nWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our Mobile Team. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our classified systems, networks, and infrastructure. You will work closely with our team to resolve complex technical issues, implement new solutions, and maintain the integrity and security of our IT systems.
nThis position requires 100% onsite work at our facility. Due to the classified nature of the systems, remote work is not possible. This position requires periodic on-call responsibility.
nSecurity Clearance:
nThis position requires a DoD Top Secret clearance. You must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance to be eligible for this role.
nThis is an EARLY-MID CAREER ROLE where candidates require 3+ years of professional experience and a BS degree or above. Selected candidate must have an active Secret security clearance prior to start.
nTHE WORK
nAs a Mobile System Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration and operation of our classified systems, software, and networks with tactical applications. Your responsibilities will include:
n• Maintaining a multi-platform Linux/Windows knowledge base.
n• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support multiple program configurations, and producing documentation for infrastructure software and operating environments.
n• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, performing vulnerability scans and remediation, and responding to application-related problems.
n• Supporting the operations and maintenance of deployed capabilities, developing system security documentation, and managing the functionality and efficiency of computer systems.
n• Being responsible for interacting with users, maintaining current knowledge of relevant technologies, and participating in special projects as requested.
n• Evaluating and recommending new technologies and tools to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring the overall integrity and security of our IT systems.

nBasic Qualifications:
n• US citizenship required due to system access
n• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field with 2+ years related experience or Master's degree
n• Strong Linux skills or other Unix skills
n• Problem resolution and troubleshooting expertise
n• Experience with open-source software installation and configuration
n• Ability to script on Unix-based systems (Unix/Linux shells, Python, Perl, etc.) or code in high-level languages
n• Ability to obtain and maintain a government DoD Top Secret clearance
nDesired Skills:
n• Helpdesk problem resolution experience
n• Familiarity with Red Hat Kickstart or similar imaging/provisioning systems
n• Experience with High Performance Computing (HPC) and Grid Engine or other similar job scheduling and management systems
n• Knowledge of Red Hat High Availability (HA) clusters or other similar HA systems
n• Familiarity with storage and storage management concepts (SAN, RAID, fiber channel, etc.)
n• Knowledge of network support in a classified
nenvironment (encryption, etc.)
n• Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF)
n• Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) processes
n• Windows skills
n• Knowledge of operating systems life cycle

nAbility to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
nSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
nPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $90,200 - $159,045. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

n(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
