We have an opening for a Laboratory Test Engineer.

n

Job Responsibilities:

n

n
• Design and validate testing systems and fixtures.
n
• Perform ongoing monitoring of testing systems through Uncertainty Measurements.
n
• Provide Technical Consulting to a staff of Laboratory Technicians.
n
• Conduct inspection of electronic components using Optical Microscopes and Scanning Electron Microscopes.
n
• Perform Elemental Analysis using Energy-Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS).
n
• Perform X-ray and CT analysis and inspection.
n
• Prepare and review test reports.
n
• Develop and apply Failure Analysis skills to determine failure modes and if possible, root causes of suspect electronic components.
n
• Uphold the requirements and principles of ISO-17025.
n

Job Requirements:

n

n
• Excellent technical writing skills are required; technical writing experience is .
n
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
n
• Ability to handle extremely small electronic components required.
n
• Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize multiple tasks required.
n
• Scanning Electron Microscopy / Energy-Dispersive Spectroscopy (SEM/EDS) experience is highly but not required.
n
• X-Ray / CT Analysis experience is highly but not required.
n
• Strong Soldering Skills are .
n
• A four-year technical degree is required, an engineering degree .
n
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
n
• Experience with ISO-17025 is highly .

• Experience with Altium Designer and Solidworks is highly
