Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full-time Lunch/Dinner Cook to work at The Lighthouse, located at 17600 Arbor Street, Omaha, NE 68130. The Lighthouse has 36 skilled nursing and long-term care suites, and is part of the Lakeside senior community campus. This position will be scheduled 5 days a week from 10:30am-7:00pm. Weekends and some holidays will be required. Minimum age of 18 years old required for this role. Some experience cooking in a healthcare setting involving altered diets is preferred.

This position will pay up to  $19.68/hour plus $1,000 HIRING BONUS (conditions apply)*.   Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

n

The responsibilities of this job include all types of food preparation, including but not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; and cleaning the kitchen. Additionally assists in any duty as needed in the kitchen area. Willingness to be cross-trained in all kitchen areas is a must.

Skills & Requirements

n

High School Diploma/GED is required.

n

One (1) year of culinary experience is required.

n

Experience preparing meals involving altered diets in a healthcare setting is preferred.

n

Minimum age of 19 years old is required.
