  • The Phlebotomist(s) assigned by the Contractor to perform the services covered by this contract must have three (3) years of recent Phlebotomy experience.

    The Phlebotomist(s) assigned by the Contractor is/are preferably nationally certified. Documentation verifying current certification, if applicable, shall be provided by the Contractor to the VA COR upon award of the contract.

    The employee may also be required to work weekends, holidays and overtime. However, on call or standby duties will NOT be required.

    Contractor's personnel shall be available and present during specified tour of duty hours at their assigned VAMC which will be established, and may be revised, as deemed appropriate for patient care by the Chief of Staff.

Technical Requirements:

  • The employee will perform patient phlebotomy to include: inpatient ward rounds, inpatient and outpatient, Emergency Department (ED), STAT and as soon as possible (ASAP), and timed draws. The employee will be expected to perform sample processing.
