nGENERAL OVERVIEW
nPrepares hot and cold foods in accordance with regulatory standards.
nESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepares and produces hot and cold food items for assigned areas and for special requests according to departmental standards/policy and in accordance with pre-established task assignments. (35%)

Utilizes proper food handling and food storage techniques when receiving, rotating, storing and preparing food in accordance with HAACP and other regulatory standards. (25%)
n n - n
Performs cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods and required chemicals. Complies with all safety and infection control guidelines. (30%)

Coordinates and communicates portioning guidelines and food set-up of all items presented for service. (10%)

QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma or GED required n
Preferred
n- n
- n
Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts preferred.
n n - n
ACHD Certification or Serv Safe preferred.
n n - n
Three (3) years of high volume food production experience; culinary training preferred.
n n - n
Knowledge of accrediting agency requirements, preferred.
