The Long Products Division, Steel of West Virginia, has an opening for a Credit Manager.
This position will be responsible for administering credit policies, credit analysis, managing customer profiles, ensuring accurate pricing on invoices, posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and other duties throughout the month and month close as identified by the Accounting Supervisor.

This position will be responsible for administering credit policies, credit analysis, managing customer profiles, ensuring accurate pricing on invoices, posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and other duties throughout the month and month close as identified by the Accounting Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining all customer profiles and monitoring credit limits
- Reconciling general and subledger accounts by gathering and balancing information
- Provide operational, sales, and financial reports using both the ERP system and resources from inside the organization
- Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures in addition to complying with federal, state, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
- Work intra-departmentally to help in analysis of actual results vs. plan
- Support various sales and accounting functions, as needed
- Special projects and additional duties as assigned
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation
- Dedication to minor details and ensuring accuracy of all work products
- Exceptional and proven verbal and written communication skills, with all levels of management
- 4-year degree in accounting preferred
- Experience with ERP or accounting software preferred
