Your Role: Director of Marketing
Location: Onsite
We're looking for an experienced Director of Marketing with expertise in SEO and digital media to lead and grow our marketing function. You will develop, implement, and execute strategic marketing plans that drive brand growth, strengthen market position, and generate revenue.
The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative, capable of leading high-performing teams, and deeply understands tactical gear and preparedness communities.

What You'll Be Accountable For
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans that align with company objectives and amplify MIRA Safety's mission
- Lead successful marketing campaigns from concept through execution across all channels
- Manage organic and paid acquisition strategies, including content creation, curation, social media, lead generation, copywriting, email campaigns, and blogs
- Oversee production of high-quality, engaging content that attracts and converts target audiences
- Guide brand messaging and voice to ensure consistency across all touchpoints, including launches and crisis communications
- Oversee and optimize SEO strategies to strengthen digital presence and authority
- Lead planning and execution of trade show and event marketing, including booth design and lead capture strategies
- Build and manage influencer and ambassador relationships to expand reach and strengthen brand credibility
- Collaborate with product development to provide market insights and support product positioning and go-to-market strategies
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to proactively adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge
- Manage customer feedback initiatives to inform marketing and product improvements
- Create and manage marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution and strong ROI
- Measure, analyze, and report on campaign performance and key metrics
- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, providing clear direction, performance feedback, and growth opportunities
- Establish efficient processes, workflows, and best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality output
- Foster a collaborative, creative, and accountable team culture
- Identify team staffing needs, participate in hiring, and onboard new team members
- Support ongoing training and development to keep the team current with the latest tools, trends, and strategies
- 8+ years of marketing or related experience
- 5+ years of experience managing a marketing department
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media strategy, and search engine optimization (SEO)
- Strong experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- Experience in the tactical gear market or tactical community (either in a professional capacity or as an enthusiast)
- Onsite presence required at our Cedar Park location
- Experience in CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear)
- Prior military or law enforcement experience (veterans/current military: please provide DD-214 or statement of service)
- Familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS)
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
