Job OverviewnnThe Quality Engineer will provide Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, and Supplier Quality support for the manufacturing locations of the Switching and Fusing Business Unit. Additional support to be provided for Continuous Improvement within the organization.nnA Day In The LifennMonitor, Audit, and Evaluate Production ProcessesnBuild and maintain Quality Assurance programs throughout the Production OperationsnISO Documentation and RevisionsnManagement of Calibration Systems, Tooling, and InstrumentationnLead and/or participate in Problem Solving and Troubleshooting activity for electro-mechanical and mechanical devicesnCAPA involvementnLead and participate in the Internal Audit programnSupport New Product Development activity including PFMEA, DFMEA, Quality Planning, Measurement Systems design and deploymentnIdentify and address issues regarding Control of Nonconforming MaterialnnWhat will help you thrive in this role?nnBachelor's degree in Engineering is requiredn3 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environmentnSupplier Quality ControlnAbility to perform Capability and Measurement Systems AnalysisnProven problem solving and product investigation skillsnExcellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong presentation skillsnExperience writing and revising procedures, work instructions, forms, visual aids and etc.nExperience working within an ISO 9001-2015 registered, or equivalently certified QMSnAbility to travel up to 10%; both domestic and internationalnnHubbell IncorporatednnHubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
