nJOB SUMMARY : MSI seeks a Maintenance Sales Representative to be responsible for prospecting, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for preventative maintenance contracts, educating clients on HVAC system benefits, and building lasting relationships that drive long-term value.
nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
nThe essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
nClient Acquisition & Customer Growth
n• Actively prospect and acquire new clients by developing and executing targeted sales strategies.
n• Cultivate, build and maintain strong relationships with new clients to identify opportunities for service agreement expansion.
n• Leverage our Dynamics CRM to track leads, opportunities, and client interactions, ensuring effective sales pipeline management.
n• Utilize our Atlas prospecting tool to identify and qualify high-potential leads, maximizing sales efficiency.
n• Meet new & potential service agreement customers as designed by the General Manager and Sales Director, fostering strong relationships and identifying opportunities for new contracted sales.
n• Proactively engage with new clients to ensure customer understands MSI’s capabilities.
n• Negotiate and close service agreements, ensuring favorable terms and pricing.
n• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., project management, accounting, Commercial Sales Advisor) to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
n• Track and analyze sales data to identify trends, optimize sales strategies, and measure performance against targets.
nIndustry Engagement
n• Actively participate in industry organizations like BOMA and ASHRAE to establish professional networks and stay updated on industry best practices.
n• Leverage industry connections to generate leads and build brand awareness.
nFinancial Analysis & Reporting
n• Analyze client account activity to identify opportunities for new contracted sales.
n• Prepare financial reports and projections to support sales forecasting and decision-making.
nBusiness Development & Marketing
n• Develop and implement marketing initiatives to generate leads and build brand awareness.
n• Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities to expand the contracted client base.
n• Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
nInternal Operations & Support
n• Evaluate and improve internal processes related to client acquisition and service agreement management.
nQUALIFICATIONS
nEducation and Experience:
n• Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience, with a track record of exceeding targets.
n• Proven track record in sales, business development, or client relationship management, preferably in a service-based industry.
n• Experience with CRM and prospecting tools is highly desired.
n• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
n• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
n• High attention to detail and accuracy
n• Must possess strong analytical skills
n• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
n• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
