Job Overview:
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to lead our comprehensive digital marketing strategy and drive our brand presence across all digital channels to engage audiences in both the internet domain industry and the Web3 and crypto space. This role is pivotal in shaping our multi-channel digital strategy, managing our web properties, executing integrated campaigns, and amplifying our thought leadership in DomainFi innovation. You will employ a variety of online tactics including social media, website optimization, content creation, marketing automation, paid advertising, virtual events, and analytics to increase brand awareness, user engagement, and conversion around D3's brand and products while working cross-functionally with marketing, product, business development, and growth leaders across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that encompasses social media, web properties, content marketing, email campaigns, paid advertising, and virtual events tailored for our target audiences
  • Manage and optimize our digital properties including website, landing pages, and conversion funnels to maximize user experience and lead generation
  • Lead cross-channel campaigns that integrate social media, email marketing, content marketing, and paid advertising for cohesive brand messaging
Social Media & Community Management
  • Drive social media strategy across platforms like Twitter, Discord, Telegram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram
  • Create and manage compelling, on-brand social content that educates, engages, and builds trust within the crypto community
  • Grow and nurture online communities by fostering discussions, responding to trends, and collaborating with influencers, ambassadors, and partners
Content Creation & Marketing Automation
  • Oversee content creation across all digital channels including blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, video content, and marketing collateral
  • Implement and manage marketing automation workflows, email sequences, and lead nurturing campaigns using platforms like HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar tools
  • Coordinate virtual events including webinars, AMAs, and online conferences, managing promotion, execution, and follow-up
Paid Advertising & Performance Marketing
  • Plan and execute paid digital advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook/Meta, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Web3-native platforms
  • Manage advertising budgets and optimize campaigns for ROI, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs
  • A/B test ad creatives, landing pages, and campaign strategies to improve performance
Analytics & Optimization
  • Monitor analytics and insights across all digital channels to refine strategies, measure success, and drive continuous improvement
  • Track and report on KPIs including website traffic, conversion rates, social engagement, email performance, and campaign ROI
  • Stay ahead of Web3 trends by identifying new opportunities for engagement, partnerships, and campaign activations
Qualifications:
Required Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing leadership roles, with proven experience managing multiple digital channels including social media, web properties, email marketing, and paid advertising
  • 3+ years of experience specifically in Web3, crypto, or fintech industries with deep understanding of the ecosystem
  • Proven track record of growing and managing online communities in Web3, demonstrating acquisition, engagement, and retention of communities scaling from 10,000s to 100,000s of engaged subscribers
Technical Skills
  • Deep understanding of the crypto ecosystem, blockchain technologies, NFTs, DAOs, and DeFi to create engaging content and communications
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, Mailchimp, or ConvertKit
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking
  • Experience with social media management tools including Buffer, Hootsuite, Twitter Analytics, and Kaito
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM and website optimization techniques
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic HTML/CSS for website management
Creative & Communication Skills
  • Strong written, graphical, and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences in an authentic yet educational manner
  • Content creation abilities ranging from copywriting to graphic design to video editing to generate compelling content across multiple formats
  • Project management skills to coordinate campaigns across multiple channels and stakeholders
Campaign Management
  • Experience executing data-driven digital marketing strategies across multiple channels
  • Proven ability to manage marketing budgets and demonstrate ROI on digital marketing investments
  • Experience planning and executing virtual events, webinars, and online community activations
Nice to haves:
  • Experience collaborating with influencers and KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) in Web3
  • Familiarity with Web3-native content distribution channels like Lens Protocol, Farcaster, or Mirror.xyz
  • Working knowledge of internet domain infrastructure and DNS
  • Experience with advanced marketing attribution and customer journey mapping
  • Certifications in Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, or HubSpot
  • Experience with no-code/low-code website builders and conversion optimization tools
  • Background in growth hacking or performance marketing methodologies
