nPosition Summary:
nThe Office Manager - Estimator plays a dual role in the organization, managing day-to-day office operations while also providing accurate project estimates for residential home improvement jobs. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication, and a solid understanding of construction and home improvement processes.
nKey Responsibilities:
nOffice Management:
nOversee daily office operations and ensure a smooth workflow.
nCoordinate scheduling of appointments, and crew assignments.
nMaintain accurate records, including client files, and job documentation.
nManage incoming and outgoing communications, including calls and emails.
nOrder office and job-related supplies as needed.
nEstimating:
nReview project plans, specifications, and client needs to prepare accurate cost estimates.
nSource pricing for materials, labor, and subcontractors.
nPrepare and present written estimates and proposals to clients.
nCollaborate with sales and project management teams to ensure client satisfaction.
nTrack and update project costs, budgets, and change orders as necessary.
nQualifications:
nProven experience in office management and/or estimating in the construction or home improvement industry.
nStrong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and pricing.
nExcellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with estimating software is a plus (e.g., ServiceTitan).
nExceptional communication and customer service skills.
nValid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits.
nPreferred Qualifications:
nExperience working with homeowners and understanding of residential building codes.
nFamiliarity with CRM systems and project management tools.
