As a Director of Marketing, you are responsible for the agency's revenue growth, development, and positioning of the agency's marketing and technology products. You are accountable to ensuring that Go Local Interactive maintains a strong set of product offerings that align with industry trends and the needs of the clients we serve. You assist the New Business and Account Strategy Departments in current and prospective client meetings by providing consultation, education and expertise on the agency's products and services in order to help the agency reach their revenue goals.
Job Expectations
- Brand Marketing: Assist in developing and executing brand initiatives that align with GLI's strategic goals.
- Social Media Management: Plan, create, and schedule content across GLI's social channels; monitor engagement and trends.
- Public Relations: Support PR initiatives, including press releases, awards submissions, internal communications, and media outreach.
- Marketing Content Creation: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create blogs, newsletters, and branded collateral.
- Campaign Coordination: Assist with planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns to promote products, services, and events.
- Marketing Channel Strategy: Evaluate and recommend which marketing channels (paid, owned, and earned) GLI should utilize and invest in over time, based on performance and strategic alignment.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with New Business, Client Strategy, and Product teams to align on messaging, positioning, and marketing support needs.
- Event & Tradeshow Support: Help coordinate logistics, promotion, and materials for industry events.
- Reporting & Optimization: Track performance of marketing activities and assist in reporting key metrics and improvement opportunities.
- Support the overall agency with sales, organic growth, and client retention.
- Join calls and in-person meetings to deliver strategic recommendations to clients and prospects.
- Attend sales and strategy pipeline meetings.
- Assists with product positioning and pricing by sharing feedback from prospects and clients.
- Assists with training team members on how to position our products and speak to digital marketing strategy.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or applicable related field
- 5-7+ years of experience in digital marketing
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Canva, or Google Analytics.
- Experience with content calendars, email marketing, or SEO is a plus.
- Understanding of B2B marketing in a digital agency or tech environment.

- Full-time; Monday through Friday
