We are supporting an established electrical contractor-ranked among the top 50 nationwide-in their search for an experienced Project Manager to lead a large-scale, high-voltage project. This firm has a 70+ year history of delivering complex, engineering-driven projects across industrial, commercial, and telecom sectors, with active work throughout the U.S.

This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership role managing full project lifecycle execution: safety, schedule, scope, labor, and cost. You'll be trusted to lead field teams, interface with clients and subcontractors, and ensure safe, high-quality delivery on some of the most demanding job sites in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive safe and successful project execution, fostering a strong safety culture on-site
  • Develop and maintain schedules, manpower forecasts, and execution plans
  • Monitor project budgets, cost tracking, and change management to ensure profitability
  • Review and manage project documents, including contract terms, specifications, and labor agreements
  • Lead daily coordination with field teams, engineers, subcontractors, and clients
  • Support development of junior team members and field leadership
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to drive repeat business

Candidate Requirements:

  • 8+ years of electrical construction experience with demonstrated success managing large, complex projects
  • High-voltage experience is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
  • IBEW membership or union background is a strong plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu, and scheduling/estimating software
  • Willingness to relocate to the Midwest or travel in Monday-Friday (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM project schedule)
  • Monthly travel stipend provided for transportation, lodging, and per diem
