Origin Design is continually seeking highly qualified individuals to enhance and expand our staff to better serve our clients. We are currently hiring a full-time Project Manager for structural projects. The position will be based out of our Dubuque or Davenport, Iowa office.

Primary Responsibilities.

n
Leading the project team to ensure successful delivery of projects.
n

Negotiate contracts with clients.
n
n
Planning, executing and monitoring the project.
n
n
Identifying and navigating around project risks.
n
n
Coordinate work with other disciplines.
n
n
Recognize and manage project priorities.
n
n
Direct project assignments and tasks for staff engineers, technicians, and administrative staff.
n
n
Maintain knowledge of developing and current technology and practices related to the engineering profession.
n
n
Attend public and client meetings.
n
n
Oversee permitting and regulatory requirements.
n
n
Make regular contact and visits with potential new clients to build relationships and to promote Origin Design.
n
n
Make regular contact with and visits to existing clients to maintain relationships, assess Origin Design performance, client satisfaction, and identify upcoming opportunities.
n
n
Document existing and potential client information in company CRM, including tracking contacts and conversations with current and prospective clients.
n
n
Participate in proposal Go/No Go process to provide input on the project and client.
n

Position Requirements.

n
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
n
n
Clear, effective verbal and written communicator.
n
n
Effective planning and organization: Use time efficiently and develop realistic action plans.
n
n
Five or more years of experience in a project management or related role.
n
n
Experience managing structural projects preferred.
n
