Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy student worker to join our Computing Services team. The IT Student Worker will assist with various technical support tasks, providing essential assistance to students, faculty, and staff. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional IT environment while balancing academic commitments.
Job Duties:
  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assist with the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Help manage IT inventory, including tracking and organizing equipment.
  • Support the IT team with projects, such as software updates and system upgrades.
  • Respond to help desk requests and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Document technical procedures and create user guides.
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled as a student at the college.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a technical support role is a plus but not required.
