Job Summary:
The Regional Sales - Truck Tire Specialist is responsible for driving sales and supporting operations in the used, retreaded, and regrooved truck tire market. This position focuses on working directly with fleet customers and tread shops to deliver value-driven solutions while providing on-site operational insight. Job Summary:
The Regional Sales - Truck Tire Specialist is responsible for driving sales and supporting operations in the used, retreaded, and regrooved truck tire market. This position focuses on working directly with fleet customers and tread shops to deliver value-driven solutions while providing on-site operational insight. The role is field-based and requires a motivated, experienced professional with strong technical knowledge and customer relationship skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sell and promote used, retreaded, and regrooved truck tires to fleet operators, tread shops, and commercial customers.
- Develop and maintain strong, direct relationships with large fleet accounts and service shops.
- Identify and follow up on new business opportunities and sales leads.
- Grade and evaluate used truck tires for resale and retreading applications.
- Participate in and support day-to-day operations at processing and retread facilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient delivery, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.
- Educate customers on tire lifecycle options, retreading solutions, and cost-saving strategies.
- Stay informed on market trends, pricing, and industry best practices.
- Travel regularly within the assigned region to meet with customers, assess facilities, and support operational execution.
- Expertise in truck tire grading, used tire sales, and retread operations.
- Strong sales acumen with a customer-first, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to build and maintain professional, trust-based relationships with fleets and shops.
- Solid understanding of tire shop operations including retreading, regrooving, and inventory flow.
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a high-travel, field-based role.
- 5-10 years of experience in grading and selling used truck tires.
- Direct experience with fleet accounts, retread operations, or tire processing facilities.
- On-site operational experience in tire service, retreading, or shop management is strongly preferred.
- Must be willing and able to travel within the assigned regions.
