Position Overview
Civil Engineer who independently performs a variety of assignments requiring skills in civil engineering design, including site layout, grading, drainage, and utility infrastructure for projects of moderate size and complexity.

- Undertakes a variety of assignments involving standard civil engineering techniques for site development projects, including grading, utilities, and drainage design.
- Performs engineering calculations and prepares design documents such as site plans, utility layouts, and stormwater management reports.
- Assists with permitting and coordination with local jurisdictions under supervision.
- Relies on experience and judgment for design, development, implementation, and analysis of engineering designs and systems.
- Produces high quality, accurate, and consistent drawings.
- Performs construction administration, drawing review, and response to RFIs.
- Conducts field work including site evaluations and construction observations to support civil engineering deliverables. 15% of time reserved for travel.

Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Science from an ABET-accredited college or university.
- 3-5 years' experience in the field of Civil Engineering.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit (or 3D modeling), scheduling software, specification software, and standard business software (MSOffice, Adobe suite, Google Docs).
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a specific field of engineering.
- Continuing education relevant for position.
