The Regional Account Manager plays an important role within the Lotus Bakeries U.S. Sales Team, supporting growth by managing key regional accounts and identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Northeast and Midwest. Reporting to the National Account Manager, this individual will be responsible for growing the core Biscoff business across select retailers and contributing to best-in-class retail execution.

  • Account Ownership: Manage sales performance and support annual planning for assigned accounts in the Northeast and Midwest regions, with a focus on growing Lotus' core Biscoff business.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new customer opportunities to expand distribution and increase brand presence across the market. Attend trade shows to generate new leads, establish initial contacts and expand distribution.
  • Brand Ambassador: Serve as an outstanding Biscoff brand ambassador in your key strategic market.
  • Promotional Planning: Work with the NAM to develop and execute strong promotional strategies.
  • Customer & Broker Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with retail buyers, brokers, and distributor partners to support execution and long-term growth.
  • Retail Execution: Conduct store visits to assess product placement, monitor competitive activity, and ensure flawless retail execution.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the National Account Manager and cross-functional teams to align on business priorities, share insights, and support brand initiatives.
Experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in CPG sales, preferably with food or beverage brands.
  • Proven ability to build effective promotional plans and negotiate with buyers to support pricing and brand strategy.
  • Demonstrated strength in business development with a track record of targeting and securing new accounts.
  • Strong analytical foundation with the ability to interpret data and identify insights.
  • Experience managing broker relationships and working with distributor partners preferred.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
