What you'll do...
  • Lead investigations into complex electrical issues across a mission-critical medical hardware platform, driving root cause analysis (RCA) and permanent solutions in the field.
  • Own design changes to improve system reliability, streamline manufacturing, and support global scalability as the company expands into new regions.
  • Develop and update key documentation - schematics, PCB layout changes, test protocols, and design records - to support lifecycle engineering and regulatory readiness.
  • Partner cross-functionally with quality, customer support, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to qualify new components, suppliers, and process improvements.
  • Drive verification and validation efforts for electrical subsystems, including embedded firmware and system-level functionality.
  • Ensure products meet regulatory, electrical safety, and EMC compliance standards through well-documented testing and risk analysis activities (FMEA, CAPA, etc.).
  • Collaborate directly with an award-winning product engineering leader to build out this function for the first time - helping shape what comes next.

  • Comfortable operating in regulated environments and familiar with standards like IEC 60601, 62368, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on, resourceful, and excited to be the first dedicated electrical engineering hire on a lean and fast-moving product team.
  • A collaborative problem solver who thrives under experienced leadership and wants to shape the future of a platform that's already backed by hundreds of millions in investment.
