DIRECTOR OF CORPORATE ENGAGEMENT (DCE), Center for Transportation & Logistics (CTL), will lead corporate engagement strategy and execution for the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics (CTL); oversee partner recruitment, retention, and engagement; collaborate with faculty and staff to align outreach with research and educational goals; plan and run events (e.g., Executive Education, Crossroads, Roundtables, conferences); supervise SCE team members; manage CRM data and analytics (e.g., Salesforce); develop custom and executive education programming; support CTL’s global SCALE network and help expand its reach and capabilities.

Job Requirements

n

REQUIRED: Master’s degree in business administration or equivalent; a minimum of seven years of research or industry experience in operations, logistics, supply chain management, or related fields; experience managing teams and projects; strong communication and presentation skills; proven ability to work independently and collaboratively; experience using CRMs such as Salesforce; ability to contribute to CTL’s broader mission. Must demonstrate critical thinking, flexibility, reliability, and a commitment to continuous learning. PREFERRED: Ph.D. in supply chainmanagement or related field; experience in academic or research environments; proposal writing; experience engaging with both industry and government agencies.
