Description
nRESPONSIBILITIES:
n- n
- n
Schedules appointments for new and established patients and serves as the primary point of care for these patients and their families.
n n - n
Additional duties may include: Scheduling return visits Scheduling ancillary appointments Registering or scheduling new patients Scheduling imaging and procedures within their local clinic
n n - n
Completing patient data forms
n n - n
Coordinating provider referrals
n n - n
Retrieving medical records
n n - n
Acts as an administrative resource for all staff in the coordination of a patient's care.
n n - n
Works collaboratively with management to remedy or escalate patient complaints.
n n - n
Covers for front desk and other back-office staff as needed.
n n - n
Provides basic support for the training of new PCCs and other administrative staff as needed.
n n - n
Completes precertification authorizations as required. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
n- n
- n
High school diploma or GED required; 12 months of customer service experience or 6 months of healthcare experience in a similar role is required.
n n - n
A bachelor's degree or enrolled in a bachelor's program will be considered in lieu of experience.
n n - n
A successful candidate will possess the following competencies and skills

Ability to provide a high level of customer service

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to work in a team environment

Time management skills; Empathy for others.
