nWhat you will do:
nCreate and prepare food items and act as liaison to front-of-house employees to ensure proper food service is being delivered.
nResponsibilities:
nCleans food preparation areas as determined by law and company policy
nPrepares foods to the specifications of the client
nPrepares food before the arrival of guests
nMakes adjustments to food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific diet concerns
nManages other employees in the kitchen
nSeasons food according to recipes or company needs
nOrders ingredients and spices as needed
nOperates various kitchen appliance such as a blender, oven, grill, or stand mixer
nPortions, arranges, and garnishes food based on client preference
nAssists other cooks during the food assembly process
nDevises new recipes
nEstimates expected food consumption and organizes preparation
nKeeps records and accounts of food purchases
nOrders new menu items for specials or cheap deals
nButchers and cooks animal meat based on the restaurant atmosphere
nMeets with customers to ensure a great meal experience
nPrepares any necessary sauces or accompaniments before meal service begins
nStays open until the last customer leaves
nOffers a creative menu to compete with other local restaurants
nCleans up after business hours
nCommunicates with owner about how to improve meal service
nAlters dishes based on consumer suggestions or requirements
nWhat you will need:
nBasic Computational Skills, Organizational Skills, Verbal Communication, Culinary Arts, Kitchen Equipment Knowledge, Butchering, Knowledge of International Cuisines, Creativity, Interpersonal Skills, Culinary Arts Training

nPay Range:$16.70-$20.36
nPay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
