nWhat You Will Be Doing
nAs the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for investigating non-conformance issues, seeking continuous improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are in place. You will apply quality principles in various areas, including design, production control, and product evaluation.
nYour responsibilities will include:
n- Interfacing with Production, Program Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering personnel
n- Investigating and resolving non-conformance issues through root cause analysis and corrective action
n- Conducting audits, assessments, and technical evaluations to ensure quality standards
n- Collaborating with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers on quality-related issues
n- Developing strategies to improve internal and supplier performance and productivity
n- Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes

nMUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
nBasic Qualifications:
nSTEM degree at Bachelors level or higher.
nMust be able to obtain a security clearance and must have at least an interim secret clearance prior to start.
n**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") background check to obtain approval to be an "employee possessor" (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.
nDesired Skills:
nMechanical or industrial engineering degree.
nVBA coding skills. (Excel)
nStrong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
nKnowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
nQuality discipline internship or DoD Industry internship.
nAbility to work with a team in a fast paced environment.

nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
nSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
