nAbout the Role:
nAs a CBRE Union Building Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring building system operations and performance. You will oversee various areas including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.
nThis job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
nCandidates with strong mechanical and building maintenance skills will be considered.

nThis position is for the 3rd shift, Wednesday night to Sunday morning, 4 - 10 hour shifts. This is a data center position.
nWhat You’ll Do:

Perform maintenance and repairs to the mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems for the facility and building. Keep the systems up to applicable standards as assigned.

Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.

Maintain an energy management program to ensure all systems operate in the most efficient manner.

Assist with the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life. Perform emergency repairs as needed.

Follow departmental policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials. Maintain a clean and safe workplace.

Review inspections to building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by the client.

Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.

Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

nThe pay range for this position is subject to an applicable
nCollective Bargaining Agreement. The negotiated rate for the Union position is
nor $44.31 - 52.33 per hour. Please refer to the Collective Bargaining Agreement regarding pay scale.
