Description:
Assistant Cook - Poplar Grove Elementary School - 4.5 hours per day
Job Summary:
- Handle lunch cards and ensure accountability and consistency with meal counts.
- Assist in preparation of food portions and prepares cafeteria counter as needed.
- Serve students and staff from the cafeteria counter as needed.
- Performs the daily cleaning of all kitchen equipment, and the washing and sterilizing of all dishes, silverware, and utensils as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Knowledgeable of safety precautions regarding blood borne pathogens
- Food certification / sanitation certificate required
