Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the project leader for customer implementation projects within the key account, offering custom-engineered adhesive solutions.
- Analyze customer applications to determine adhesive, process, and equipment requirements.
- Maintain frequent, project-based coordination with global technical departments-including R&D, Product Management, and Process Engineering teams in Europe and Asia.
- Support contract manufacturers through application-specific process development and implementation.
- Lead communication and collaboration with internal global colleagues to align project timelines and goals.
- Monitor emerging technical trends and provide insights on future applications through roadmap and trend-scouting discussions.
- Act as technical counterpart and primary project interface for key account stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates and technical feedback to the Global Key Account Manager.
The Successful Applicant
Requirements:
- 3-5 years' experience in a technical environment, with project management responsibility
- Ideally 3+ years in technical sales, preferably in consumer electronics or material sales
- Background in sales, application, process, or design engineering
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Process, Materials, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Physics
- Industry experience in adhesives, dispense/surface treatment tech, semiconductors, medical devices, or electronics supply chain
- Not from consumer goods sales, software, finance, or pure chemistry industries
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); strong presentation, communication, and listening skills
- Proficient in MS Office, ERP, and CRM systems
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for weekday travel
- Willingness to travel, including ~8 weeks of onboarding in Europe and occasional international business trips
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical drawing interpretation skills
- Organized, self-driven, solution-oriented, and professional in demeanor
- Experience working in international or cross-functional environments preferred
