nTangent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who will be responsible for driving the cost-efficiency, quality, and scalability of our product lines. This role plays a key part in both new product launches and continuous improvement of existing manufacturing processes. nKey Responsibilities

- Collaborate with New Product Development teams to transition approved designs into scalable manufacturing processes. n
- Partner with extrusion, tooling, and maintenance teams to ensure efficient, high-quality production. n
- Refine and scale manufacturing processes for both new and existing products. n
- Design, test, and install automated and manual manufacturing systems. n
- Analyze production requirements and optimize workflows, layouts, and equipment performance. n
- Lead initiatives such as FMEA, APQP, and PPAP to support product development and launch. n
- Drive cost and lead time reduction by identifying and eliminating waste in production processes. n
- Plan and execute process improvement activities including Kaizen, A3, and Six Sigma projects. n
- Research and implement automation solutions to enhance production efficiency. n
- Develop and maintain quality assurance protocols and ensure alignment with quality system procedures. n
- Coordinate with external extrusion partners to optimize material usage and reduce waste. n
- Monitor and apply SPC (Statistical Process Control) to improve response times to defects and maintain high production quality. n
Requirements:n
Qualifications
n- n
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. n
- Assembly fixture design using Inventor or Solidworks with understanding of LMC and MMC n
- Hands On Robotic Automation Experience (preferably with Fanuc or ABB programming experience) n
- Experience moving products from design to manufacturing n
- Familiarity with DFM concepts n
- Hands On experience building samples and prototypes n
- AutoCAD Inventor or Solidworks n
- Microsoft Project or Asana n
- MasterCAM experience a big plus but not required n

- Prolonged periods working at a desk and computer. n
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. n
