Job Description
nA company in San Diego is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Project Manager to support various facilities for maintenance and upgrade projects.
nKey Responsibilities
nDesign & Engineering (50%)
nDevelop and update electrical system designs using AutoCAD and Revit.
nCreate and maintain electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation for facility systems (lighting, power distribution, backup systems, etc.).
nEnsure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA).
nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to assess electrical needs and propose design solutions.
nProject Management (50%)
nLead and manage facilities-related electrical projects from concept through completion.
nDevelop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
nCoordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
nPrepare and manage RFx events, evaluate bids, and oversee contractor selection.
nMonitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
nTrack and report on project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.

nSkills and Requirements
nBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
n5-7 years of professional experience in electrical design work and project management
nStrong experience communicating with suppliers Experience installing infrastructure within a facility
nExperience with medium voltage design work (~12 KV) null
