nThis role is onsite in Fort Worth, Texas. Manufacturing Technology Center Quality Team
nBell is seeking a Quality Engineer to support operations at our MTC facility located in Fort Worth, Texas.
nIn this position you will participate in the development, execution, and oversite of products and processes used in the manufacturing environment to ensure robust and cost-effective designs.
nWhat you will be doing as a Senior Quality Engineer:
nQuality Program Planning and Management
nDevelop, calculate, and report out on a variety of Quality metrics
nIndependently conduct process audits
nLeading Corrective Action and Continuous Improvement Process efforts
nUtilizing Quality Management Systems, Records, & Data
nCollaborate with and support military and commercial customers
nValidate Manufacturing Corrective Actions
nResearch, development and testing new inspection technologies
nFacilitating and maintaining project management records for the incorporation of technologies
nConduct comprehensive engineering analysis using Descriptive Statistics, including the interpretation and application of Probability Distributions and Discrete distributions to support data-driven decision-making in engineering projects.
nReview and assess Quality Drawings and 3D models for accuracy, design specifications, and compliance with standards, providing feedback and recommendations for improvements.
nQualifications
nSkills You Bring to This Role:
nProblem Solving - Demonstrates root-cause analysis
nFamiliarity with AS9100 Quality Management System requirements
nFamiliarity with inspection processes and techniques
nDemonstrated ability and comfort level to deliver presentations to peers, customers, and upper management
nBusiness Acumen - Understands how business works, acquiring knowledge in current policies, practices, trends, and information affecting the organization
nSix Sigma Blackbelt certification preferred
nAdvanced level of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
nWhat you need to be successful:
nBachelor's Degree in Engineering
nAt least 5 years of directly related quality experience in the aerospace industry
nAdvanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)" training and or experience is preferred
nExperience with Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) is a plus
nIIoT Systems - Connected & Edge devices - digital integration, machine data sharing, edge analytics (system driven execute - verify - adjust), etc.. Able to lead from reactive to predictive to prescriptive analytics
nDigital SPC systems and strategies
nMobile tech integration - IPAD, AR
nControlling Data Streams - Data Lakes
nQuality Audit experience is preferred
nMilitary experience is a plus
nMachine parts and gear manufacturing experience preferred
