This role is onsite in Fort Worth, Texas. Manufacturing Technology Center Quality Team

n

Bell is seeking a Quality Engineer to support operations at our MTC facility located in Fort Worth, Texas.

n

In this position you will participate in the development, execution, and oversite of products and processes used in the manufacturing environment to ensure robust and cost-effective designs.

n

What you will be doing as a Senior Quality Engineer:

n

Quality Program Planning and Management

n

Develop, calculate, and report out on a variety of Quality metrics

n

Independently conduct process audits

n

Leading Corrective Action and Continuous Improvement Process efforts

n

Utilizing Quality Management Systems, Records, & Data

n

Collaborate with and support military and commercial customers

n

Validate Manufacturing Corrective Actions

n

Research, development and testing new inspection technologies

n

Facilitating and maintaining project management records for the incorporation of technologies

n

Conduct comprehensive engineering analysis using Descriptive Statistics, including the interpretation and application of Probability Distributions and Discrete distributions to support data-driven decision-making in engineering projects.

n

Review and assess Quality Drawings and 3D models for accuracy, design specifications, and compliance with standards, providing feedback and recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications

n

Skills You Bring to This Role:

n

Problem Solving - Demonstrates root-cause analysis

n

Familiarity with AS9100 Quality Management System requirements

n

Familiarity with inspection processes and techniques

n

Demonstrated ability and comfort level to deliver presentations to peers, customers, and upper management

n

Business Acumen - Understands how business works, acquiring knowledge in current policies, practices, trends, and information affecting the organization

n

Six Sigma Blackbelt certification preferred

n

Advanced level of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint

n

What you need to be successful:

n

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

n

At least 5 years of directly related quality experience in the aerospace industry

n

Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)" training and or experience is preferred

n

Experience with Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) is a plus

n

IIoT Systems - Connected & Edge devices - digital integration, machine data sharing, edge analytics (system driven execute - verify - adjust), etc.. Able to lead from reactive to predictive to prescriptive analytics

n

Digital SPC systems and strategies

n

Mobile tech integration - IPAD, AR

n

Controlling Data Streams - Data Lakes

n

Quality Audit experience is preferred

n

Military experience is a plus

n

Machine parts and gear manufacturing experience preferred

n
