Job Summary
An electrician will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining the electrical infrastructure for the site to include 480-, 110-, and 24-volt systems.

America's Heartland Packing is set to open its doors in early 2025. The 775,000 sq. ft. greenfield project will include a harvest floor, carcass chillers, fabrication area, rendering, further processing area, storage coolers, freezers, and loading docks.

Job Summary

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-year industrial electricity experience with 480-, 110-, and 24-volt systems
- Bend Conduits using hand benders, mechanical benders or hydraulic benders
- Knowledge of the use of power tools, saws, threaders, wire tuggers, knock punches and any tools associated with the electrical industry
- Read, write, and orally communicate in English and ability to work with no or little supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled
- 3-5 years' experience as an electrician
- Journeyman or master electrician
- Experience working with general electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting electrical issues with testing equipment.
- Have a good working knowledge of the tasks required to perform on all phases of electrical work in accordance with the latest edition of the American Electricians' Handbook, Local and National Electrical Codes.
- Slaughter meat industry experience
- Bilingual English / Spanish
- Good communication skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Troubleshooting skills to determine electrical malfunctions
- Ability to identify wires by their distinct colors
- Demonstrable ability to interpret electrical drawings and blueprints to complete projects
- Maintain all work sites clean and in order
- Complete all required paperwork
- Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care of equipment and tools
- Install new or modified electrical installations consistent with local and national codes.
- Plan electrical installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring
