This position offers a competitive salary range of $90-$120K, commensurate with experience.nAbout the Role:nnDesign Leadership & Certification: You will serve as the design lead and certification authority for residential and commercial projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.nStructural Design & Analysis: You will perform conceptual to final design and certification of wood and masonry structures, framing systems, and foundations.nTechnical Documentation: You will prepare calculations, details, and project plans using AutoCAD.nConstruction Support: You will assist in construction support activities, including RFI responses, submittal reviews, and job site reviews.nProject Coordination: You will coordinate work product with other disciplines and maintain close contact with project owners and engineers.nStaff Management & Quality Assurance: You will manage staff, direct tasks, and perform Quality Assurance reviews.nnWho You Are:nnLicensed Professional: You hold a Florida PE License.nExperienced Structural Engineer: You have 3-5 years of qualified experience performing structural engineering of wood and masonry structures and certifying projects.nTechnical Proficiency: You are proficient in AutoCAD 2D, RISA 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.nCode Knowledge: You possess a strong understanding of Florida and International Building Codes and design standards.nResidential Construction Expertise: You have experience with concrete construction up to three stories, foundations (shallow/spread and deep), metal plate connected wood trusses, and engineered wood products.nMaterial Knowledge: You have knowledge of steel, wood, and masonry structures.nnRequired Skills:nnFlorida PE License.n3-5 years of experience in structural engineering of wood and masonry structures.nAutoCAD 2D proficiency.nRISA 3D proficiency.nKnowledge of Florida and International Building Codes and design standards.nExperience with concrete construction, foundations, metal plate connected wood trusses, and engineered wood products.nnPreferred Qualifications:nnRevit proficiency.nnCompensation & Benefits:nnCompetitive Salary: $90-$120K, relevant to experience.nFull-Time Opportunity.nnReady to Join Our Team?nIf you are a licensed Structural PE with a strong background in Florida residential projects and a desire to contribute to successful outcomes, please apply and reach out to Brian Ray at or call 470-415-8255.
