- Understand the risk implications of the fixed income operations function
- Perform essential trade support tasks including trade checkout, position reconciliation, and wash account reconciliation
- Work closely with the trading desk, sales teams, and other operations groups to ensure accurate and timely trade processing
- Cross-train with other team members to enhance operational flexibility
- Provide timely issue resolution and escalate concerns to the trading desk and operations management as needed
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to transfer knowledge and mentor peers
- Excellent team player with the ability to collaborate across multiple operational areas
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and escalate issues appropriately
- Reconciliation experience and skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy in task execution
