Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation:
- Prepare fried foods, including appetizers, sides, and main dishes, according to the menu and recipes.
- Ensure food is cooked to the correct temperature and consistency, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Monitor fryer temperatures and oil levels, ensuring safe and proper operation.
- Food Safety:
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper storage, handling, and cooking of food.
- Regularly clean fryers and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and safety.
- Inventory and Supplies:
- Monitor the supply of ingredients needed for fried dishes and inform the kitchen manager of any shortages.
- Properly store and label food items according to health and safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure all fried items are prepared and delivered on time.
- Assist with other kitchen duties as needed, including prep work and cleaning.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Fry Cook or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
