Job Description
Become a part of Nielsen's Digital Account Management team and collaborate with innovative, disruptive media companies within one of the most dynamic and rapidly growing sectors in the media industry.
We are presently looking for an Account Executive to join our team.
Role: In this role, you will support the Nielsen Digital Client Account Management leads and play a key part in driving solution adoption across our existing client base. You'll ensure clients are leveraging Nielsen's platforms and capabilities to their fullest extent by facilitating onboarding meetings and ongoing training. You will also work closely with our Customer Success and Technical Account Management teams to ensure any client reporting, tagging and product issues are resolved quickly and efficiently. By strengthening relationships with existing clients, the Account Manager will help identify areas of expansion with clients based on their current usage of solutions and emerging needs. The individual will also coordinate with multiple teams across Nielsen. You will need to be team-oriented, proactive, and eager to share ideas, learn, and collaborate.

Responsibilities:
What does a typical day look like in this role? This includes managing relationships with existing strategic clients.
- Collaborate with Account Leads to develop and implement adoption, support and renewal strategies for key clients with spend of $1-10M annually.
- Creating data-driven insights to drive client adoption of Nielsen solutions.
- Advocate for clients' needs internally and manage their requests, both tactical and strategic, to ensure value delivery and business growth.
- Gain a deep understanding of Nielsen's products and solutions, as well as how our data adds value to clients' businesses.
- Learn and understand the inner workings of Nielsen's offerings to deliver top-tier solutions to clients.
- Develop and deliver client presentations that address key business issues and demonstrate how Nielsen can provide value.
- Recommend innovative strategies for engaging existing clients, leverage insights garnered to make recommendations for expansion with others.
- Coordinate with multiple cross-functional teams across Nielsen.
- Contribute to the team's knowledge by owning a specific industry sector (e.g., Retail Media) and sharing relevant strategy and industry news during team meetings or other communications.
- Work together with Account Leads to create and execute impactful Account Plans for strengthening Nielsen's global relationships with top clients and prospects.
- Partner with Account Leads to identify Nielsen solutions that address key business challenges in specific sectors (e.g., creating a playbook for engaging Retail Media clients).
- Develop and deliver high-value, customer-facing communications that support scalable consultative selling (e.g., newsletters or client updates).
- Participate in team meetings and strategy sessions, sharing customer success stories and industry insights.
- 1-2 years of professional experience.
- Background in media, preferably from a media agency, media company, media measurement company, or Nielsen ELP (Emerging Leaders Program).
- Passion for media and the industry.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Growth mindset with the ability to learn and implement strategic account management and renewal techniques.
- Persistent and goal-oriented, with a proactive approach to solving customer problems so we are well positioned to renew and expand our business together.
- Open to learning and refining problem-solving approaches.
- Collaborative and works well within a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

The ideal candidate would be located in the New York Metropolitan area, and comfortable working from Nielsen offices located there a few times a week. Other major metropolitan areas will also be considered: San Francisco/Bay Area, Los Angeles.
Travel
The candidate will be required to travel at least once quarterly for client and internal meetings in major metropolitan areas, primarily New York (if not based there), Los Angeles, and the San Francisco/Bay Area.
