The Gardens at Millville is hiring dedicated and skilled Cooks to join our team at our skilled nursing facility. If you're passionate about preparing delicious, nutritious meals and thrive in a supportive environment, we'd love to hear from you!
Available Shifts:
  • Full Time- 5:30a-1:30p
  • PRN- days or nights (5:30a-1:30p) (11:30a-7:30p)
Starting Pay:
  • $14.00/hour with a $0.50 weekend shift differential for Saturday and Sunday shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus and portion control guidelines.
  • Coordinate food production with meal serving schedules to ensure timely service.
  • Memorize, record, and follow menu items, abbreviations, portions, and plate presentations.
  • Follow standard recipes and accommodate special dietary orders as needed.
  • Safely operate and maintain standard kitchen equipment.
  • Adhere to sanitation and food production codes.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances.
Qualifications:
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Preferred: One (1) year of dining services experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical setting.
  • Culinary school training is a plus!
