The ideal candidate will plan, coordinate, and implement projects within the estimated budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, and project team members.
nWe seek a skilled and experienced electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will coordinate and supervise all electrical aspects of the projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with Queue Electric's safety regulations and quality standards. As a Project Manager at Queue Electric, you will collaborate with various teams and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and vendors. You will play a crucial role in delivering successful electrical project completion to our esteemed clients.
nKey Responsibilities

- Create and manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely project completion. n
- Develop comprehensive project budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving measures when possible. n
- Provide regular project updates to clients and stakeholders, informing them of project status, risks, and milestones. n
- Procure and coordinate necessary materials, equipment, and subcontractors for each project. n
- Attend and run project meetings. n
- Evaluate project team performance, providing feedback, coaching, and training as needed. n
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and project closeout documents. n
- Address any project-related issues, conflicts, or delays promptly and effectively, seeking solutions that maintain project progress. n
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives. n
- Identify areas of process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and profitability. n
- Oversee the work of subcontracts, ensuring they adhere to project specifications and safety guidelines. n
- Must have experience with FDNY inspection paperwork as needed for fire alarm inspections n
- MTA, NJ Transit & Metro North experience a + n
- Project values are between 1- 5 million n
Qualifications

- 3-5+ years of Project Manager experience required n
- Experience in Commercial/ Residential Projects- Public works a + n
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in the electrical contracting/engineering field n
- Familiarity with electrical design, codes, and regulations (e.g., NECA). n
- Strong organizational & multi-tasking skills with attention to detail n
- Must be comfortable with on-site and field visits and in communicating with clients, field supervisors, and foremen. n
- Strong business acumen in project and planning and management n
- Strong stakeholder outreach and engagement capabilities including advanced public speaking and presentation skills n
- High level of communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills involving the ability to work cross-functionally to track and understand complex issues and communicate clearly and precisely to diverse audiences. n
- Proficiency in project management software (ex: Procore) and the Microsoft Suite n
- Practical knowledge of construction processes n
- Must be able to travel Tri-State, Long Island, and New Jersey n
