nHydraterra Professionals (HtP), a specialized environmental engineering firm, has been providing southeastern Pennsylvania with exceptional consulting and engineering services since 2007. Whether we’re designing state-of-the-art treatment plants, analyzing a distribution or collection system, completing an Act 537 Plan, or upgrading a pumping station, HtP is focused on offering practical water resource solutions for current problems and future challenges.

nQualifications:
n§ Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering program from an accredited university;
n§ PE License;
n§ 10+ years of environmental engineering or related experience;
nStrong verbal and written communication skills;
nExcellent problem-solving and time-management skills;
nGood mechanical aptitude and knowledge;
nKnowledge of electronic equipment and computer hardware and software (CAD, ArcGIS, etc.);
nProficient in, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook;
nMust be available and willing to travel as needed;
nPossess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
nDuties:
nDevelop a complete understanding of the services HtP provides to clients;
nLead teams in the preparation of winning proposals and successful presentations;
nLead and direct the development and design of various projects;
nShow complete understanding of the PA Act 537 Sewage Facility Planning process;
nShow complete understanding of NPDES and WQM permitting process;
nProvide construction management and oversight to complete capital improvement projects.
nManagement Responsibilities:
nWork with Senior Managers to develop the scope of work and budget for various projects;
nInteract and attend client meetings while maintaining excellent client relations;
nCoordinate team activities and effectively communicate project status through written and oral reports;
nProvide expert client management and business development skills for public and private water and wastewater projects;
nSupervise and support the work of others, including junior staff;
nDemonstrate the ability to win contracts and successfully deliver contracts within budget.
nTechnical responsibilities:
nDesign of projects involving the supplying of potable water and the proper treatment and disposal of wastewater and sanitary sewage;
nDesign of pumping stations, wastewater conveyance systems, water distribution systems, pressure-reducing valves, and force mains;
nDesign of gravity and low-pressure sewers for the collection of wastewater;
nHydraulic modeling of existing and proposed distribution and collection systems;
nPreparation of environmental documentation related to water resources and regulatory program compliance;
nConduct feasibility studies for the construction of water supply systems, water and wastewater treatment plants, or wastewater collection systems;
nDesign wet weather projects including CSO/SSO facilities, wastewater treatment plants, sewers, tunnels support facilities and pump stations;
nDemonstrate experience in developing and implementing computer models of systems.
