Location: Columbus, OHnPay Range: $72,000 - $90,000/year (Direct) or $34.62 - $43.27/hour (Contract)nWe’re seeking a skilled Transportation Engineer to join a growing team in Columbus, Ohio. This is a 6-month contract-to-direct hire opportunity with a focus on designing and managing transportation infrastructure projects.nResponsibilities:nnLead transportation design, including calculations, reports, plans, and roadway modeling.nCoordinate with project managers and leadership to ensure budget, schedule, and project tracking.nPrepare proposals and preliminary project evaluations.nCollaborate with public agencies and other firms during project coordination.nSupport Ohio and regional offices on infrastructure projects.nnRequirements:nnProfessional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio (or Indiana).nProficiency in MicroStation and Bentley Open Roads Designer.n5+ years of transportation project design experience (ODOT or INDOT projects preferred).nStrong communication and leadership skills; project management experience is a plus.nMust reside and be eligible to work in the United StatesnnPreferred Qualifications:nnBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (ABET accredited).nExperience working on ODOT, county, and municipal projects.nFamiliarity with Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite.nnDetails:nnSchedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM.nOnsite position with occasional travel (10%).nBusiness casual attire.nnJoin a dynamic and growing civil engineering firm with a collaborative and supportive culture.
